I'm the best choice for people who value style, craft, and consideration in their UX design.

What it's like working with me

What's good, video viewer? You're kind to pop in and have a look around. If you don't already know, I'm Daniel and I provide UX design services.

I'm a build-forward type person, focused on where you are, where you want to go, and the optimal path to get you there. Maybe you have a clear picture of your needs. Maybe you don't. You're good either way.

To best address your unique challenges, set your project up for success, and because it's a good idea to do so, I structure my engagements like this.

  1. Ask some questions
  2. Make a thing
  3. Test the thing
  4. Release the thing
  5. Improve the thing
  6. Optional: burn it down and walk away thing

Along the way I will ensure we are in constant contact and collaboration with one another, keeping us aligned and moving forward.

With a good working relationship you can expect an increase in sales, a greater return on your dollar, and a boost in conversions across your interactive touchpoints.

If you're generally a good-natured person, with a sense of humor and adventure, and if you're the kind of person who values style, craft, and consideration from the people you work with then pick a service and let's begin.

Okay, yeah, sure, whatever, guy.
AI can do your job so why pay you?

AI can certainly help and it is getting better by the moment. If you know how to design then AI can help you design faster. If you don't know how to design then AI can help you begin. I encourage you to try the AI softwares out. If you are a budding student in the do-it-yourself with AI way I'm even happy to train you on some of the better tools out there.

Learn to design the D(AI)Y Way

When you get to the point where your AI tool isn't getting you anywhere or you find yourself spending too much time in the tool and not enough on what you really want to do then I've got a service for you.

What you get that's more than what you pay for

It has been such a pleasure working with you – your perspective is intriguing and I enjoy the playfulness with which you seem to approach both life and work. When you ask questions and dig at the "why" of what we are doing, you move us in a better direction and I'm thankful for that.

FAQs

What is your process for conducting user research?

I start from where you are and what you're looking to learn. Where beneficial, I'll analyze existing data for trends and patterns and provide a research method to fill any knowledge gaps. This keeps my design decisions informed and grounded in real user experiences.

How do you ensure the design aligns with our business goals?

I work closely with stakeholders to define clear objectives and KPIs upfront. Throughout the design process, I continuously refer back to these goals, ensuring my design decisions work for and not against them.

Can you provide examples of similar projects you've worked on?

Yes, I have a backlog of case studies I can walk you through to demonstrate how my approach aligns with your project needs.

How do you handle feedback and revisions during the design process?

I set up structured reviews for gathering user and stakeholder feedback. I consider the feedback in light of project and business goals which guides the revisions to be made to reach those goals.

What deliverables can we expect at each stage of the project?

You'll receive wireframes or low-fidelity prototypes early on, followed by high-fidelity designs and clickable prototypes. Depending on your needs, I may also provide technical diagrams like user flows, user personas, or usability reports.

How do you measure the success of the design after launch?

I consider the business and other stakeholder metrics of success, but from a pure UX standpoint, measuring the success of the UX, I use the bulletproof industry standard UMUXLite survey. It is only two questions. There's no reason not to use it.

How long will this take and how much will it cost me?

The timeline and cost depend on the complexity of the project. After an initial discussion of your needs, I'll provide a timeline and cost breakdown tailored to your specific situation.

Is your product delivering the experience your users deserve?
